Course Overview
This course prepares personnel to support IOSA audit activity; it is preparatory training and does not itself confer IATA Pool of Auditors accreditation.
Delivered by a qualified IOSA Airline Auditor, this three-day course prepares experienced auditors and quality/compliance professionals to operate within the IATA Operational Safety Audit programme.

Learning Outcomes
- Explain the structure and purpose of the IOSA Standards Manual and IATA Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Describe the IOSA audit cycle, from registration through to renewal.
- Apply the evidence-based conformance rating methodology used in an IOSA audit.
- Navigate the IOSA discipline areas relevant to the organisation.
- Draft findings and manage the Corrective Action / Preventive Request process.
- Support an airline's audit team through a live IOSA registration or renewal audit.

- Structure of the ISM and ISARPs
- The IOSA audit cycle and registration process
Day 2
- Conducting an IOSA audit — evidence gathering and conformance rating
- Discipline area walkthrough
Day 3
- Findings and the Corrective Action / Preventive Request process
- Practical workshop: simulated IOSA audit exercise
- Written assessment and certification
Prerequisites
Prior audit experience and/or completion of AeroLex's Initial Aviation Auditor Training is recommended.
