Course Overview
AUA-OPS 1 is Aruba's operative code for commercial air transport, issued by Aruba's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and carried forward from JAR-OPS 1 rather than replaced by EASA Air Ops, as happened across Europe. This course walks participants through its full structure — from operator certification and the required manuals through to the operational Subparts governing performance, mass and balance, equipment, flight crew and flight time limitations — so that compliance monitoring, quality and operational staff can interpret the code correctly and apply it to their own organisation's exposition and manuals.
Delivered by an experienced auditor and Air Operations expert, the course mirrors AeroLex's existing Regulation (EU) 965/2012 programme in structure and depth, with every session anchored to real operational and audit scenarios — adapted throughout for operators certified, or seeking certification, under Aruba's DCA.
